| Description The Lowell Community Health Center is funded by CSAP as part of its Targeted Capacity Expansion Initiatives for Substance Abuse Prevention (SAP) and HIV Prevention in Minority Communities to implement the Cambodian Youth Development Partnership (CYDP). CYDP is intended to engage the Cambodian community in implementing a community-based model that responds to substance abuse and HIV prevention needs of Cambodian adolescents ranging in age from 12 to 18. The evaluation will document how well CYDP meets its primary purpose of delivering a unique and comprehensive youth-driven prevention program designed by the target population that integrates science-based curricula ("Creating Lasting Family Connections" and "Reducing the Risk") and youth development strategies, to increase access to effective substance abuse and HIV prevention programming for Cambodian-American youth in Lowell ages 12 to 18 and their families. | |
