2011

Can Erbil was named a member of the International Advisory Committee, Bahcesehir University in Istanbul, Turkey, on August 1, 2011.

Nina Kammerer received a grant to be a Visiting Investigator at the Institut Catala de Recerca en Patrimoni Cultural (Catalan Institue for Cultural Heritage Research.)

Raj Sampath was invited to be a Research Fellow at the Center for Continuing Education and Interdisciplinary Research at the University for Development Studies.

Jasmine Waddell was elected to the Board of Trustees (the "Cooperation") of Brown University, her undergraduate alma mater. 

2010

Sarita Bhalotra delivered the Women's and Gender Studies Program 2010 Fall Distinguished Faculty Lecture, "Mending Broken Hearts: Elder Women, Caring and Cardiac Illness"

Nina Kammerer was a Visiting Investigator at the Catalan Institute for Research on Cultural Heritage, Girona, Catalunya, Spain during the Fall 2010 semester.

Rajesh Sampath participated in the December 2010 annual American Philosophical Association meeting held in Boston. He was invited to join the research working group "Philosophers for Jesuit Education."

Donald Shepard was named to the Dengue v2V Steering Committee for promoting prompt introduction of dengue vaccines into countries with the highest disease burden.  The committee was organized by Interlace Global in London in November, 2010.

Joan Kaufman was appointed as Faculty Affiliate in East Asian Studies, Brandeis University.

Don Shepard was named as a reviewer for National Institutes of Health challenge grant study groups.
